105.00

ARTMUSE CURATES AND CUSTOMIZES EXCEPTIONAL ART EXPERIENCES FOR GROUPS. OUR ART TOURS ARE ALWAYS APPROACHED WITH SPECIFIC THEMATIC PERSPECTIVES FOR MUSEUMS AND WITH THE MOST CURRENT TOPICS FOR CONTEMPORARY ART AT GALLERIES.

Camp: Notes on Fashion
The Costume Institute's spring 2019 exhibition will explore the origins of the camp aesthetic, and how it has evolved from a place of marginality to become an important influence on mainstream culture. Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay Notes on ‘Camp’ provides the framework for the exhibition, which will examine how fashion designers have used their métier as a vehicle to engage with camp in a myriad of compelling, humorous, and sometimes incongruous ways. The Tour will be led by Natasha Roberts.

Can I go on a tour that is not listed on the website?

Yes, however it will depend on the availability of instructors for that particular city.

No. Please arrange your own transportation to and from the tour locations.

Do I need to bring anything?
