TEFAF New York Spring

Founded by art dealers in 1988 and run as a non-profit foundation, TEFAF has a proud history of showcasing masterpieces in every category of art and design – from antiques, Old Masters and Haute Joaillerie to contemporary painting, works on paper and 20th-century design. The Impressionist and Modern Art auction features an array of paintings, works on paper and sculpture by leading artists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. A superlative 1932 canvas of Picasso’s sleeping muse, Marie-Thérèse Walter, Le Repos dazzles in a bright palette of verdant greens, crimsons, whites and purples.
