AND THE SKYSCRAPERS OF MANHATTAN INTO THE
WORLD OF ART AND CULTURE
New York is a city rich in its art holdings. ArtMuse offers unique art tours to over 25 museums, collections and galleries in New York City. Each tour is presented as a lecture and discussion of current exhibitions and permanent collections. Lectures are approached from a unique angle or with a concentration on a particular aspect of the exhibition. ArMuse art historians take into account the interest and knowledge of each group of participants in the art being viewed. Special requests are accepted and considered.

- The Radicals of 19th century: Impressionist Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art
- House and Collection, The Frick Collection (limited to 4 people)
- Select Temporary Exhibitions and Permanent collection, the Guggenheim Museum
- Select Temporary Exhibitions at the following museums: Whitney Museum of American Art, the New Museum, New York Historical Society, Museum of the City of New York, MoMa, Museum of Arts and Design, American Folk Art Museum, National Museum of American Indian, El Museo del Barrio, the Morgan Library, Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum, The Bard Graduate Center, ICP, the Chelsea Art Museum, National Academy of Art, the Jewish Museum.
Each tour lasts approximately 1 1/2 hours.

ArtMuse was created by Natasha Schlesinger. Natasha Schlesinger is an independent art historian and an art consultant who has been working in the art field for the past 20 years, specializing in the history of decorative arts. Natasha was a specialist in European furniture at Christie’s Auction house for four years, and then went on to open her own international consulting firm Meridienne LLC. She has lectured both at Christie’s and Sotheby’s and is co-founder of ArtXplorers, an art series for kids Natasha is currently producing with Mindy Mervis. Natasha holds a Master’s degree in the Decorative Arts from the Bard Graduate Center for Studies in the Decorative Arts, Culture and Design.
